ATC's childminding is a well established childminding service for all children aged 0+. We are located in Delapre which is near to town and the A45 so hopefully perfect for your travel to work. We are open from 7.30-5.30pm with extended hours available to allow you time to get to and from work.

We aim to provide a warm welcoming atmosphere where your child can be happy and develop in their own way and in their own time. We plan our daily routine to provide the children with the best learning possibilities, we follow the areas of learning set in the EYFS these are;

* personal,social and emotional development

* physical development

* communication and language

* literacy

* mathematics

* knowledge and understanding of the world

* expressive arts and design

Each child in our care will have a learning journal this will have a collection of photos, drawings, paintings and observations which is a record of your childs progress and development through the foundation stage.These are kept up to date and are available for parents to view when conivenient at home and add photos and information about home achievements.

Each child will have a key worker who will be responsible for keeping learning journals up to date and also the main person for day to day planning and care of your child. You will be notified of who your childs key worker will be for future reference.

We have a dedicated double playroom for the children with a wide range of toys to promote learning, they are set up daily with all they need to keep them busy, learning and having fun, these are fully fitted with a soft cusion floor to protect your child. This indoor space leads on to a purpose built decked play area for the children, this is split into 3 areas for the different age groups, the smaller childrens area is fitted with a soft cussion floor, the older childrens area leads straight on to the grass. All outdoor areas are equipped with age appropriate toys, cars, bikes, scooters, sand and water play, mud kitchen, basket ball, football, trampoline and many more.

We aim to keep parents as informed and involved as possible, we will log all your childs daily activites along with their general progress and pictures of them on a system called baby days, this will allow you to log on from home to view everything about your child including what they have eaten, how many times they were changed that day, photos of trips and activities, sign for accidents or medice, daily register, menues for the weeks, childrens progress and next steps, invoices and many more. We have many activites daily in our home such as playdough, sand, water, drawing, home corner, cars, dolls house, action men, lego etc we also take part in many outings such as going to the park, play dates, the farm, tumble tots etc. We have extended knowledge with children from birth plus, and also now offer the 2,3 and 4 year old funding for 15 hours per week.
